About Conduit Security

Conduit Security is a wire fraud prevention platform built for the alternative investment industry. We help investment firms and their investors move money with confidence by closing the gaps that fraudsters exploit — bad actors, imposter emails, and social engineering that target wire transfers. As we grow, we're building out the engineering team responsible for connecting Conduit to the systems our clients already use.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our engineering team with two areas of focus: owning the integrations that connect Conduit to client systems, and contributing as a full member of the team building Conduit's core application. This is not a narrow, single-purpose integrations role — you'll split your time between client-facing pipeline work and the broader product, and you'll be expected to grow into a well-rounded engineer on the platform as a whole.

On the pipeline side, you'll work closely with Customer Support to understand what clients need, then design and build the integrations that make it happen — improving efficiency, accuracy, and security for the people using Conduit every day. You'll be the engineer clients' IT teams talk to, and the one who keeps existing integrations healthy as our client base grows. Alongside that, you'll take on features, fixes, and architectural work in Conduit's core application, working from the same backlog as the rest of the engineering team.

What You'll Do

Pipeline & Integrations

• Partner with Customer Support to scope, design, and build new integrations between Conduit and client systems, improving user efficiency, accuracy, security, and ultimately client retention
• Diagnose faults in existing pipelines and improve their robustness and reliability
• Translate between data models across systems, and coordinate the network connectivity and authentication work required to connect them
• Interact directly with customers — primarily client IT teams, but also end users — to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and explain technical tradeoffs in plain language

Core Application

• Own and contribute to feature development and maintenance work across Conduit's core platform, not just the integration layer
• Participate in architecture and design discussions that shape the product beyond client-facing pipelines
• Balance client-driven integration work against core roadmap priorities, communicating tradeoffs with your team and manager

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with exposure to both data integrations/pipelines (APIs, ETL/ELT, file-based transfers, or similar) and general application development
• Strong troubleshooting instincts — comfortable diagnosing faults in production systems under time pressure
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth/SSO, Auth0/Okta, etc.)
• Experience translating between different data models/schemas across systems
• Excellent communication skills and genuine comfort working directly with customers, including technical (IT) and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfort moving between client-facing integration work and core product work without losing momentum on either
• Bias toward ownership — you're comfortable being the person a client's IT team calls when something breaks, and equally comfortable owning a feature end-to-end in the core app

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, security, or compliance-sensitive environments
• Experience working with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks
• Background supporting clients in financial services or alternative investments
